I am not a big gambler in general but I have never bet on a hockey game. It's too unpredictable from game to game to bet on in my opinion.

Not me - my name isn't << Pierre Larose >>

Last time I made a bet was in high school.
A classmate of mine insisted that Hank Aaron once hit 50+ home runs in a season.
What did I win? A "central red army" card of Sergei Fedorov

.... periodic ProLine, hockey pools, etc...+/- $100/year.

Results with ProLine are hit and miss. Ahead of the game with hockey pools.

A good year maybe make $200-$300.
Bad year ~break even.

A few times a week with Pro-Line,usually play 5 to six game parlays so don't win too often, got luckey a few times with 3 game ties, that was nice.Have more luck with the NFL though.

My currency of choice is Coffee

I usually bet a coffee a day on some game or another with a coworker.

I have been up about 15 coffees so I would say I win more than I lose.

I rarely bet significant dollars on games, for me its not about the money but about being right. The bragging rights on coffee are just as good and no one gets upset over coffee. Have a few friends who bet $$ regularly with each other, if the stakes get too high friendships can be affected.

Edit: Was that an offer to bet? Give me 3 to 1 odds and you can Have the Hawks, I'll take the other 15 teams.

EDIT2: I thought I had figured out your identity- Pete Rose. Guess I was wrong.

I agree with Lubers, hockey is a sport where the unpredictable seems to always happen, there is probably more money to be made on underdogs. I sometimes bet on players- who will have the most points at the end of a season, that sort of thing. Again never big stakes.
