Well, house edge on casino games like BJ, poker, bacarrat, roulette, craps are very low, so what do you say what should be preferred?

Point to note is sports betting includes arbitrage betting also

There is a much higher possibility of beating sports books than the casino floor games.

Best examples are basball, which can be handicapped pretty easily by following the hot teams and the hot pitchers.

Also Football can be beaten, both pro and college.

Here is a football site that has consistently beaten the point spread and the straight up bets for years. And the picks are 100% FREE!

First would be the machine players...except for video poker. Then the table players that play high house edge games like Let it Ride or Caribbean Stud, then bad odds games like Roulette followed by the rest of the table games. The sportsbook will always take last place, because you can beat it and the house views the sportsbook as a loss leader. Vegas casinos don't invest much into their sportsbooks, and they don't look to them to bring in huge profits.

Definately sportsbetting
Why?
Because you can look for value while in the casino section you cant, there is always casino advantage, but in the sportsbetting there are the exchange sites like http://www.bettingwise.hit.bg/Betfairsports.html (review of Betfair)
where you bet against other people. That makes the odds better for you and there are incredible prices when a player(team) is about to loose. Sometimes @100.0.
