massive drive to promote american sports over here in the UK? I used to watch Skysports news religiously because of its great football(soccer for the imbeciles) coverage but nowadays when i watch theres loads of quite frankly sh1te news about NBA NHL NFL MLB even when I went to my home page today yahoo uk and ireland there was some nonsense news about basketball- america- we dont want your terrible, terrible sports here !! anyone agree?

You're talking to the wrong people. It's the corporate fat cats who want to expand their audiences. I think the majority of U.S. fans would rather our sports were NOT being shown to people who don't appreciate them, the same as I'm sure you all feel about America and soccer and rugby and cricket and all the other sports we could care less about being shoved down OUR throats in commercials, on the internet and on TV (like ESPN wasting everyone's time with sports coverage we don't care about).
Look at the reaction to NFL fans possibly losing the Super Bowl to London someday. We're the LAST people on earth who want that to happen

used to loves basketball and soccer in the past. Now it's seems like a waste of times. Maybe , i will comes by it again.

I used to watch NBA when i was younger during the michael jordan era that was when it was really interesting but now is just about the money and who is leaving and who is staying. I seriously hear more about who is going to leave a certain team than what i hear what happen during the game.

Its because the NFL and american sports franchies are keen to expand the market.
Im in the UK and I love American sports except maybe Baseball, but each to their own. I do not care for soccer but I dont go round complaining that all you get on there is Soccer on Sky Sports.
Maybe you should watch it, you mightlike it, if it wasnt popular then they wouldnt hae it on there
