Like betting on pro sports it would seem easy to do. If I study games for 8 hours a day I would win everytime. Now if I did parlary cards I wouldn't win every single parylary card. Really all you have to do if win $2,000 a week and thats $96,000 a year. For football the odds are
600-1 on a 10 team parlay so a $20 bet you would win $12,000.
I live in Vegas and thinking about making betting my full time job. I bet football&baseball and between the both I make $20,000 a year. Don't have time to breakdownand study teams cause my job.

Oddly enough there are quite a few people out there making a living on gambling. Having said that, living in Vegas you may have heard the saying "parlay means death"?
Sports books make the vast majority of their profits from parlay betters. Professional sports gamblers make large money bets on single plays against the money line in many cases. Then again, they start with a fairly substantial bankroll also.
In 40 years of gambling on sports I have only hit a 10 team parlay once, and that was consistently playing a $2.00 bet on college and pro basketball as well as football. Another thing, it may have changed in the past 5 years but there are some sports books that pay 800-1 on a 10 team parlay (all of the Primm, NV casinos did a few years back).
Best of luck if you decide to make a run at it!

I don't think you should make gambling as a career. But playing with a budget and sticking to it will be a wiser option. Gambling is best to be a source of inspiration and hope that tomorrow will be a better day if you win. If you don't win, then there is always the next draw to look forward to get a better life. I operate lottery blog and winning is possible if you have some strategy in place. Please visit my blog referenced below.

I do, but you push your luck, there is a lot of risk
Gambler's Fallacy: the more you lose, the more you have a chance of winning next time.
I recommend you do not get into the gambling life. Go for casinos, it can be dangerous dealing with other people's money. Be careful and good luck. Hope you don't do it though, it's very stressful when I lose money. Don't get cocky or greedy. Know when to quit.

Oh definitely actually many of my colleagues gave up being a doctor to gamble full time. Mainly they play slots but sometimes they play blackjack and hold um. Usually they bring home 3 girls a night and never sleep than party some more. Its a great life, I actually get my gambling advice from one of them. He owns a nice dog.

Lol funny question.
too bad gambling deals with a lot of luck, so the real question is, do you have luck? even besides your knowledge of football and baseball.
gambling is a life of stress, but if ur commited to it, ull do fine.
just be ready for a rocky road

Betting on sports is really easy, winning anything of significance is very difficult. The word gamble means to take a chance. Most people that are successful are highly educated in math and understand that odds.

No it's not easy. People lose a lot by gambling. It's not the wisest thing to do. Especially if you have a family that you need to take care of.

I cant see how that parlay can win often, the odds suggest that it can win 1 time from 600 attempts.
