He wants...well you get the idea, what men always want...(no, not That, the other). I want the dishes done. Fair trade? I say so.

Do you bribe your husbands? Or better yet, bet on football games?

With me I've always had a code of conduct - Do not use sex a a bargaining chip. That's just my own personal etiquette rule.

Sounds like a bad habit to get into. If you get into a pattern of "rewarding" him for doing dishes and things like that, how are you going to get him to do the dishes on those crampy days?

The Sweet Potato Queens say that that's a promise you should only keep one out of every four or five times you make it. Do it juuuust often enough to keep him doing what you want him to do, so you don't have to muss your lipstick every time you ask him to kill a bug... if you know what I mean. ;-)

If you keep doing that, he will find another woman who does it just because she loves him.

Funny thing, I was f*cking his brains out last night for cleaning the house from top to bottom, doing all the laundry and taking care of our 2 year old and newborn daughter because I was just too sick to get out of bed 3 days ago.

Seriously if you have to bribe your husband, you got far bigger issues with yourself then anything else.

Perhaps you should google what being a wife means. Perhaps you should google what a heathly marriage means and apply that to your every day life.

Kiss This, You surprise me
I've been following you around
here 1/2 the night. I thought you
were the answer lady for Yahoo.
Good answers by the way!
I have to agree with Marianne...
Just buy a dishwasher and get
on with your life.
